Practice for Making Others Feel Psychologically Comfortable with Me

Knowing and Clarifying Who I Am

As I age, I find myself delving deeper into my preferences, thoughts, and way of life, realizing that living this way feels true to myself. When I stray from living authentically, not only do I feel off-kilter, but those around me also feel confused about how to interact with me.

Living authentically means defining my personal brand clearly. To achieve this, I believe in repeatedly engaging in my unique way, recognizing it myself, and continually evolving and solidifying this approach.

In today’s chaotic world of information and relationships, people feel more at ease in predictable daily routines and are often taken aback by someone’s unexpected behavior. I experience this with others and recognize it within myself as well.

Equal Relationships and Conversations

Regardless of how long one has lived, where one resides, or how wealthy and intelligent one might be, it’s increasingly important to meet others on equal footing and engage in conversations as equals.

Failing to do so leads to communication difficulties and forces me to live in a world that is expansive yet actually confining.

Acknowledging Mistakes and Differences

In relationships where people meet as equals, everyone should feel free to admit their mistakes and discuss their shortcomings and differences. Honest conversations transmit truths, and only when based on truth can we gain valuable insights and empathy from our dialogues.

I hope that everyone who stops by here feels comfortable engaging in such open and genuine conversations with me.
